Stuffed apples

Ingredients

  • 8 apples
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon

For the crumble

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup quick-cooking oats
  • 3 tbsp pecans, chopped
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp McIntosh apple juice
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 tbsp melted butter

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the crumble by mixing all the crumble ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Peel and dice 2 apples. Mix them with the butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  4. Core the remaining apples and fill them with the apple mixture, then top with the crumble.
  5. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the crumble is crispy.
